The World unveils new online prep sports features
WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee World has unveiled three new online features: profile pages for prep athletes in North Central Washington, a chat box for fans to banter about prep sports, and a Twitter-based prep scoreboard. Here is a look at all three:
Lake Roosevelt-Chelan to meet for CTL title
OMAK — If nothing else, the Lake Roosevelt Raiders have established themselves as a strong defensive team. Just ask the Cascade Kodiaks.
Prep basketball regular season
The basketball season will last at least one more game for the Bridgeport and Oroville girls teams. Bridgeport beat Manson 43-29 in its final regular season game Tuesday, while Oroville fell 48-26 to Kittitas, leaving the Fillies and Hornets (both 7-7 in North Central Washington 2B League play) in a tie for the fourth and final berth to the district tournament.
