The World unveils new online prep sports features
WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee World has unveiled three new online features: profile pages for prep athletes in North Central Washington, a chat box for fans to banter about prep sports, and a Twitter-based prep scoreboard. Here is a look at all three:
Entiat's basketball teams repeat as 2B district champs
WENATCHEE — They were given all they could handle, but in the end there was no dethroning the Entiat Tigers. Both Entiat basketball teams successfully defended their Class 2B district championships Thursday, with the girls upsetting top-seeded Liberty Bell 53-47, and the boys pulling away late to beat Manson 39-31 at Wenatchee High School.
WENATCHEE — Ruben Guillen wasn’t his usual self for the Manson Trojans on Monday in the first round of the North Central Washington 2B League district tournament at Wenatchee High School. That is, until the Trojans needed him the most against Oroville.
