Bill and Sharon Meyer of Malaga recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family on Christmas Day in Sun City West, Ariz. Sharon Jeter married Bill Meyer Dec. 25, 1952, in San Diego, Calif.
Neil and Ann Mayer of Leavenworth will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at 2 p.m. Jan. 12 at Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene, 111 Ski Hill Drive. The event will be planned by their daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Morris Regan of Cashmere, and their son and daughter-in-law, John and Julie Mayer of Granite Falls.
Terry and Dede Snyder of Olympia recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple’s family is planning a celebration for them next summer at the Cashmere home of their daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Jeff Raven.
Chuck and Janet Shaw of Wenatchee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise open house in July. The event was hosted by their son, Mike Shaw of Wenatchee and their daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jeremy Leavitt of Wenatchee.

The event was hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Kyle Hinton of University Place; their son and daughter-in-law, Toby and Gena Long; and their son, Kevin Long of Sammamish.
Joe and Marilyn DeFina of East Wenatchee will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a party in May. The party is being planned by their sons and daughters-in-law, David and Misty DeFina of East Wenatchee and Steve and Robyn DeFina of Oakland, Calif., and their daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Jeff Malick of Seattle and Julie and Ken Hart of Issaquah.
Jim and Gaylene Pope of Wenatchee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends at The Cellar Cafe in Wenatchee on Aug. 25. The majority of the couple’s wedding party were able to attend the gathering.

The event is being hosted by their daughters, Jackie Browning of East Wenatchee, Kristie Taylor of East Wenatchee and Delcie Mott of Wenatchee. Josie Calhoun of East Wenatchee, Ruby’s sister, will also help host the event.
