EAST WENATCHEE — A simple plaque will now memorialize students, teachers or other employees who die while they’re a member of the Eastmont school community. The Eastmont School Board adopted a new policy Monday to prevent future memorials from being built on Eastmont campuses, and instead add names, dates and other identifying factors such as “teacher” or “student” to a plaque.
