Clare Brecto passed away on the evening of July 28, 2015 at the age of 88. In the last few weeks she was alive, she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and knew she was going to heaven. She was born in Port Huron, MI on November 19, 1926 to her parents, John and Emma Gooding. At the age of 16 she moved to Canada and eventually joined the Canadian Army. Leonard Regehr

Leonard Regehr, 90, of East Wenatchee, WA, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, after a two year struggle with cancer. He was surrounded by his adoring wife and two of his daughters as he was welcomed into the arms of Jesus. Leonard was born December 30, 1924, in Inman, KS to Jake and Mary Regehr. His sister, Elsie, joined the family a year later.

Max Eugene Singleton

Max Eugene Singleton, 91, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday, August 17, 2015. Born February 9, 1924, to Ivy and Ray Singleton, he was the oldest of three boys. He lived in Ava, MO until the age of 14, when he left home to make his way in the world. In 1942, Max met Pauline Brown, whom he dated and then married less than a year later.

Charles “Jake” Baker, 87, a longtime East Wenatchee, WA resident, died Thursday, August 13, 2015. He was born May 19, 1928, to Willie and Fay Baker, the oldest of 15 children, in Antlers, OK. Charles was very patriotic and served with the US Army in Germany. He’s been a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident and worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart, where he recently received his 15-year plaque and pin.
