William M. Nollmeyer, 89, a lifelong resident of the Withrow, WA area, passed away on July 17, 2014, at Chelan Hospital. He was born on January 18, 1925, to the late Walter and Bertha (Irmer) Nollmeyer. He graduated from Withrow High School as Valedictorian and started farming on the family farm. He retired in 2004. Will was a longtime Douglas County Fire District Commissioner and Honorary Mayor of Withrow. Will and Shirley (Mitchell) Nollmeyer were married in 1947.

Kenneth L. "Ken" Haugh, 78, a resident of Wenatchee, WA since 2003, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Highline Care Center in East Wenatchee, WA. Ken was born on August 7, 1936, at Leavenworth, WA to Robert "Daddy" Haugh and Lucille (Vankirk) Haugh. After Roberts's death, Lucille married W.K. Wilson, who raised Ken. Ken enlisted in the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, Ken returned to Leavenworth, where he went to work falling trees for a logging company and later as a rock setter, working heavy equipment.

In 1961, she married Leonard Schall and together they had four children. They made their home in Minot, ND until 1966, when they moved their family to Tacoma, WA. In 1971, they came to Wenatchee, WA, as the result of a mass layoff at Boeing. Jean enjoyed every craft imaginable and did most of them extremely well.
