Clara May “Penny” Buffington Hewitt

Clara was born in Lewiston, MT. Her family later moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID. She married Richard Buffington and had seven children. Clara has many brothers and sisters on her side of the family and Richard's side. She was well loved by her nieces, nephews, grandkids and great-grandkids. Later in life, Clara married Merlin Hewitt and, after 20 years of marriage, became a widow.

Jason A. Wiyrick

Jason was born November 4, 1971, in Spokane, WA and he died suddenly on October 7, 2014. He had suffered from an extended illness for several years. His hobbies included fishing and watching his beloved Chicago Bears, as well as spoiling his niece and nephews.

Marlene Joy Goodman, 77, of Ephrata, WA, passed away October 5, 2014, at Avalon Care Center in Othello, WA. She was born in Porterville, CA on December 27, 1936, to parents, Newton and Ida Harris. Marlene, or "Granny", grew up in Porterville and Modesto, CA with her five siblings. She was married to Hubert Neil Goodman in Modesto on September 30, 1955.

Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Brother, and Friend, lifetime Chelan, WA resident, Loren Marvin Stocker, quietly took his last midnight ride as he passed away peacefully on October 5, 2014. Marvin was born in Wenatchee, WA on August 28, 1942, to proud parents, Loren Church Stocker and Violet Valene Arter. The family moved to Grandma Grace's Rivermaid Ranch shortly after his sister, Carol, was born. Mary Esther (Teas) Applegate

Mary Esther Applegate, 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, TN. She was born on September 14, 1943, in Tonasket, WA, daughter of the late Amos and Mary (Beale) Teas. Esther grew up in Chesaw, WA and graduated from Concordia High School. She later moved to Valparaiso, IN to attend Valparaiso University, where she studied to be a deaconess; she spent the rest of her life in the Midwest.

LCDR Robert D. Carleton, USN (Ret.)

Robert Dudley Carleton, Sr., "Bob" died, at the age of 93, on October 8, 2014, at Memory Haven in Sumner, WA. Bob was born on January 24, 1921, to Guy and Ada Carleton in Manhasset, NY. He was raised with his siblings, Jean and Ed, in Manhasset, but the family spent much of their summers at their cabin, OWA-ETCA, in the New York Adirondacks, where he grew to love everything to do with the outdoors.

Walter Carroll Brown & Alice Maxine Brown

Walter Carroll Brown passed away October 5, 2014, at Highgate Assisted Living in Wenatchee, WA. Alice Maxine Brown passed away on October 7, 2014, also at Highgate Assisted Living. Walter and Alice had been married for 74 years. They were such close friends that when one went to be with the Lord, the other followed closely behind. They were longtime residents of Monitor, WA. Walter and Alice were married May 18, 1940.
