Wilma Burnham James

Wilma Burnham James passed away in Kennewick, WA on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Wilma was born in Ionia, KS on April 30, 1923, to Ray and Florence Pratt. She moved to Omak, WA in 1941, and was married to Ray James in August, 1942. During World War II, Wilma worked as a telephone operator. Wilma also worked as a bookkeeper for Biles Coleman Lumber Company and Price Motor Company in Omak. In 2005, she moved to Kennewick.

Stanford F. Skinner, 86, of Waterville, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2014.

Charles Benjamin Harrild

Charles Benjamin Harrild, 22, of Yakima and formerly of Leavenworth, died Nov. 7, 2014.

Fred G. Wiltse

Fred G. Wiltse, 90, was born on April 12, 1924, to Charles and Daisy Wiltse, near Leedale, Alberta. He had been an East Wenatchee resident for 52 years.

Stanford Francis “Stan” Skinner

Stanford Francis "Stan" Skinner, 86, died Monday, November 10, 2014, with family by his side. He was born June 5, 1928, to Floyd and Ruth (Jennings) Skinner. He was raised in Minnesota and moved to Washington State in 1949. Stan met Jean Graves at a dance on a Thursday night and married her the next Thursday in Backus, MN. They were married 65 years, and raised three children. They lived in Tacoma, Moses Lake and Waterville, WA together.

James W. Womack

James, aka "Papa", passed away peacefully in the presence and love of his family. Papa will be forever missed, but not ever forgotten.

Joan Louise (Paschall) Clark

Joan Clark, age 93, died peacefully on November 7, 2014, in Wenatchee, WA. Joan was born April 13, 1921, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Ivan Noble and Jenny June (Fox) Paschall, both deceased. Joan grew up in Ohio and attended schools there until graduating from Worthington High School. She married Osburn Kenneth Logsdon (deceased) on November 22, 1941. They had two children, Kendred O. and Peggy Louise.

Lorna Virginia Wiley

Lorna Virginia Wiley, 94, died Saturday, October 25, 2014. She was born January 4, 1920, to Grady and Eva (Dutton) Longacre. She graduated from Waterville High School in 1939, and she married Robert "Bob" Wiley of Waterville on January 11, 1941. Over the years, she worked as a bookkeeper for the Waterville Grange Supply and Webb's Dress Shop. She was also Chief Pie Baker for Joel's Sandwich Shop.

Jerald “Jerry” Greenwood, 74, of Wenatchee, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014. Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.

Virginia Elsie Oestreich, 78, of East Wenatchee, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014. Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.

Dora A. Barnes, 90, of Ephrata, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014. Arrangements are by Nicoles Funeral Home, Ephrata.

Remmel Owen Wamock

Remmel Owen Wamock, a longtime resident of Wenatchee, WA, breathed his last breath on earth and first breath in Heaven on November 6, 2014. He passed away at Central Washington Hospital. Owen was born on July 5, 1924, in Sage, AR, to Phillip Edgar and Maud Mae (Taylor) Wamock. He was third of seven children. He lived in Arkansas most of his younger years and attended school in Melborne. On September 26, 1942, Owen married Virginia Ann Herron. They were married for 61 years.

Fredrick Anker Olsen

Fredrick Anker Olsen, born July 29, 1924, at home to Norwegian parents, Ole and Anna Olsen in Ballard, WA. At home and at peace, he ascended to Heaven October 6, 2014, at the age of 90, in Manson, WA. Fredrick graduated Ballard High School and was a WWII Veteran. He retired from the Seattle Times, where he was known as 'Freddy Bear' to his co-workers and 'Friendly Fred' to everyone else. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Daniel Tavis Chapman

Daniel Tavis Chapman, loving husband and best friend, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, friend and longtime Wenatchee Valley resident, passed away suddenly October 25, 2014, while on his anniversary vacation in Cancun, Mexico with wife, Christine Chapman. They were celebrating four crazy, beautiful years together. Daniel was born on March 10, 1974, in Texas. He moved to the Wenatchee Valley as a tot and graduated from Wenatchee High School.

Eddie Lynn Klein

Eddie Lynn Klein, daughter of Bernard and Phyllis Klein, was born January 27, 1958, in Evanston, IL. She grew up in Northwood, IA, and was Valedictorian of her graduating class of 1976 at Northwood-Kensett High School. Eddie moved to Washington State to attend Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma. She later moved to Wenatchee, WA, where she was employed in various occupations over the next three decades.
