The celebration started at Vale Elementary school where veterans were honored with musical numbers, followed by a parade to Cashmere High School where a “Pledge of Allegiance,” themed assembly featured student presentations, choral music and guest speaker Mac Bledsoe, a former high school teacher who writes about Parenting with Dignity.
