Actually, it's the quiet nap I get while everyone else is watching the game...turn on the golf channel in the bedroom, and check for leaks in my eyelids...

I used to enjoy the Super Bowl. It was all about the game and the culmination of 3 or 4 months of competition in two leagues to decide which league champion was the better team. These days it's a usually poorly performed rendition of our National Anthem sung by someone of consequence and stature such as Rosie O'Donnell, then a boat load of commercials which cost advertisers and enormous sum which is tacked on to the price of their product so that consumers can pay for the advertisers own little competition. Next, a half time show extravaganza where entertainers make complete fools of themselves to the extent of poor sound on perhaps otherwise good performances and publicity stunts such as "wardrobe failures" no less. Then on to a repeat of the commercials. The list of complaints goes on and touches pretty much every aspect of the event from the beginning of the hype to the afterglow of endless "news" reports by every imaginable commentator including the folks on TBN.

Ya' know what? I could care less about any of it, so I turn the game on after it starts just to see if it magically involves any real athletic competition, flip the channel to the History or Discovery channel, or even an old cooking show in search of something to ease the boredom created by NBC.
