  1. Washington state has been one of the leaders in vote-by-mail elections and by almost all accounts it has been a huge success. While frustrated voters in other states stand in long lines on one day to cast their ballots, we vote at our leisure and either mail it back or put it in a drop box by election day. Simple.
  2. There’s a major change coming for the look and feel of the Apple Capital Loop Trail, and I don’t think it’s a change for the better. Or a change most people even know is on the way.
  3. There have been teachers and even some of their students. There have been lawyers, engineers, medical professionals and small business owners. They've been almost evenly split between men and women.
  4. The year that wraps up today has been a big one for The Wenatchee World newsroom. Once again, wildfires were our top story as they burned in wide-ranging areas of our region. Our news team worked incredibly hard bringing you all the details, personal stories and images.
