The blaze near Chelan stretched last night to highway 97, across from Azwell Orchards/Wells Dam. Various orchard workers stayed up most of the night ensuring the blaze would not jump over 97. Power was out all night for those who live in homes in the Azwell orchards.

The Antoine Creek Fire south of Pateros quadrupled in size overnight to 4,000 acres and has provoked fire warnings to about 30 campers and property owners in and around Alta Lake State Park.
