TO: Rufus Woods

Tuly enjoyed your interview with maestro Caiile on my computer just now.

YOU done good-grin! So did the maestro.

The history of our Community Orchestra has had quite a variety of conductors over the years that I've been here--from 1967 on (from way back when you were little Amahl etc. ) You done good in THAT part. --GRIN!

Our two seats are right down in front 2nd row for SUN. Maestro Caiile is a terrific conductor.

Thanks for the good interview! - DICK LAPO

Those of us that live in Wenatchee and the surrounding communities are fortunate in that we occasionally get to enjoy things that are usually only available to folks that live in larger cities. The WVSO would be one of those. The orchestra grew from humble beginnings, (under maestro Glenn Kelly) to become the organization it is today.
As one of the musicians that will be under his baton on Saturday night, I have to say that Maestro Caoile is able to hear things that many conductors would miss. He has the technical ability to tell the string players how to bow their instruments, and to tell the brass players how he wants a passage phrased. And he's able to do it without offending anyone's feelings. His energy is infectious. He brings out the best in us.
