VOLLEYBALL
The 2012 season ended with two losses on the first day of the state tournament in Lacey. The gals only lost five matches all year and three of those were to teams who took home hardware from state...Mead finished second, Olympia fourth and Richland eighth.

Panther Stats…a pretty fair season.
90% league wins (9-1) is fifth best. The top spot is 100.0% by the 1976, 1981, 1982 and 1985 teams…all 8-0. 79.2% season wins (19-5) ties for fourth best. The top three are 89.7% (26-3) in 1982, 84.6% (22-4) in 1985, and 81.5% (22-5) in 1983. The 1981 squad also went 19-5.
16 home matches are the third highest. The top two are 18 in 1988 and 17 in 1986.
15 home wins are the most ever. Old mark 13 in 1995.
93.8% home wins (15-1) is third best. The top two are 100.0%...11-0 in 1985 and 9-0 in 1982.

Wenatchee has qualified for the state tournament 13 times in the 37 years of the program. That total ranks them 14th in total appearances in the 4A event. Those ahead of WHS are: Mead 21, Shadle Park 21, Puyallup 20, Auburn 17, Bethel (Spanaway) 17, Columbia River (Vancouver) 17, Eisenhower 17, Kentridge 17, Woodinville 17, Kent-Meridian 16, Lewis & Clark 16, Bellarmine Prep 14 and Kentwood 14. There have been 104 schools participate in 37 years.

In terms of consecutive state appearances three schools tie for top honors with 11 apiece – Bethel, Mead and Shadle Park. Wenatchee had five straight entries from 1981 to 1985.

Among schools that are, or were CBBN members at the time, the number of 4A state entries are: Eisenhower 17, Wenatchee 13, Pasco 7, Davis 5, Kamiakin 4, Walla Walla 4, Richland 2 and Southridge 1.
