A classic panel truck parked in the middle of nowhere welcomes some of the season's first snow for the Methow Valley. Horses are nearby, and a house on a distant ridgetop, but otherwise this stalwart truck stands pretty much alone to face the weather.

Mike, Considering the state of the economy, that blue truck could be somebody's home.

Nice photo! I really liked the lighting on the blue color of the vehicle.

Thanks, Alex. This was shot in diffuse morning light, wth a lot of reflection from surrounding snow. Sitting there, the truck actually seemed to be glowing while the surrounding grases were fairly muted.

Ha! Good one, Mav. My senses are very keen ; ) I can hear what I see and see what I hear, and taste what I smell--and of course, smell what I taste. he he The blind can "see" what they touch, also. And I don't know what makes an entry show up twice like that.
