Who's the glue artist?
Blog: Culture Check

We'll likely never know which PAA -- professional adhesive applicator -- gobbed on the goo behind this long-gone sign. The sticky design, artfully smeared, once held in place a park-here-and-get-towed sign. The placard was glued to a building at the north end of a parking lot across from the Liberty Cinema on South Mission Street.

I like the "landscape" of the smears -- a blob as the sun, a cracking strand as the river, a band of crud as veiling mists. It also looks like someone's intestines, but we don't need to dwell on that image.

I see a snake or two in there also, don't I? Not sure about the subject matter on this one Mike, but it is "different" without question. :- )
