"The photograph must be recovered!"
Blog: Director's Desk
May 23, 2010
Stephanie Fry did some beautiful photography for us so here are some more pictures from the show. Only four more performances through June 5th...if you've been reading this blog, you know you want to come see it. Come join us for a fun evening! Not to mention great food by Lemolo Cafe.

Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes listen to the King of Bohemia as he explains why the missing photograph is so important. From left to right, John Bauscher, Cameron Sherman and Matthew Ulmen.

Sid Prince (Jacob Scott) and conman James Larrabee (Tyson Ward) have a long-awaited discussion of their differences (aka...brawl. Thank you, fight coordinator Kari Erickson!).

Moriarty (yours truly) gives Larrabee some fatally concise instructions before leaving the gas chamber at Stepney.

Irene Adler (Ivy Delaney), Holmes and Watson take the train to Canterbury in the hopes of outwitting Moriarty. A good example of using simple sets, here we used three chairs from previous scenes. The script called for minimal settings, moving so quickly from one location to another, that sets for all scenes were impossible. So, three chairs combined with acting, lights and sound effects become a moving train.
We'll see you at the Pressroom! I can't believe we're already halfway through the run. Thank you to all of you who have seen the show and given us all such great compliments. We work hard so you have a great theatrical experience!
