Off and Running Again

Blog: Director's Desk

Another adventure in directing is in the works. Back in December, I was approached by Brady Dundas to possibly direct his original full-length play, “Who Will Remember William Weston.” It is a comedy-drama. The script is still in draft form but is close to completion. It has been very fun to be in on the creative process from the writing stage and I look forward to this new adventure. Last weekend, Music Theatre of Wenatchee had their annual business meeting with members and we did a short scene from the play to whet folks’ appetites for its opening in June. Everyone laughed at all the right places and the actors did a great job.

So we are on our way! Auditions are coming up on March 7 and 8 and I’m really looking forward to getting busy with it. You can find a description of the play at the Music Theatre website.

I’ll keep you updated on all the fun, mishaps and adventure. Thanks for coming along!
