League Standings for Entiat
Blog: Entiat Tiger PRIDE!
February 19, 2010
League standings for the Boys are Entiat 12-2, followed by Oroville 11-3, Manson 11-3 and Soap Lake 10-4. A great and competitive year for all of the teams. I know that many of the games played by these top four teams were very tight scoring games. With this in mind the District Championships for these teams will be played on February 22, 25, and the 27th. We will be playing Soap Lake on Monday the 22nd at 7:00 at the Wenatchee High School. As a spectator watching the boys play has been exciting and nerve racking, so if you like those kinds of feelings and stress please come and watch and cheer them on. In all honesty that's the way you want the games played. I know i don't enjoy the Superbowl when the scores are not even close. So come watch because they will be close games for all schools.
League standings for the Girls are Liberty Bell 13-1, Kittatas 12-2, Entiat 11-3, and Bridgeport 7-7. This year has been a real challenge for Entiat with losing several of our seniors last year. Three of the girls have really stepped up to the plate and grown leaps and bounds this year, Tommi Lamb, Darriean Anson, and Alex Larson. It has been great to see their improvement as they step onto the court and take on the challenges thrown at them. Lets hope the girls can get in the game early, take charge and shoot well. Their games look to be as challenging as the boys. Their games have been close scoring with these other top three teams. We have a great group of girls and I consider them good team players and very competitive.
So Let the games begin!
