TWO FOR ONE

Blog: Entiat Tiger PRIDE!

Well Here we go, Entiat Tigers have played two games since I last communicated with you, so today you get the stats for two games.

The Tigers played the Kittitas Coyotes last Friday at Kittitas with the Coyotes outwitting the Lady Tigers and winning with a score of 58-53. The girls just didn't seem to be in the game, struggling with shots and rebounds and with over 18 turnovers, which doesn't help in such a tight game. High points went to Micaiah Hodge with 19 points, Mandy Southard 14, Taylor Montgomery 13. Taylor Montgomery had 7 rebounds, followed by Martiza Diaz with 4.

The Boys played a tough and a tight scoring game as well. Angel Avelar led with 26 points followed by Dylan Crawley with 16. Leading Rebounds went to Billy Edwardson with 8. Robert Whitehall lead the steals with 6 and Billy Edwardson and Dylan Crawley both had 2 blocks each. Final score was Entiat 64-Kittitas 54.

Tuesday the Tigers played the Liberty Bell Lions and again the Lady Tigers fell. From the get go they seemed uptight and not in the game. The Lady Lions devoured the Lady Tigers and dominated the whole game. The girls couldn't get through the defense and the press and they never got any closer than 19 points. Leading points went to Taylor Montgomery and Maritza Diaz with 8 each, followed by Micaiah Hodge with 6. Rebounds Taylor Montgomery with 8, and Maritza Diaz with 6. Final Score Liberty Bell 58-Tigers 33.

The Tigers Boys however had a different story last night as they struck down the Lions. The tigers had a great advantage as our twin towers managed to block several of the shots, Dylan Crawley had 4 blocks and Billy Edwardson had 3. The boys managed to have good half time lead of 24 points and managed to keep that strong lead the rest of the game, allowing the reserves to get some court time. Leading the team in points was Angel Avelar with 18, Thomas Sanford with 16, Dylan Crawley with 13. Rebounds were Dylan Crawley with 8 and Billy Edwardson with 5
