With a 5-1 season Coach Mike Hurlbert recaps their final game of last week.
Good Day Entiat sports fans.
In the Battle of the Powerhouses, the Entiat Boys Middle School Football Team walked away with a victory over a stubborn Pateros Team by a score of 30-14. A good football game was viewed by our fans with Entiat only leading 8-6 at Half time. Pateros came back and tied in the 3rd quarter 14-14. Then our defense took over led by the tackles of Ivan Sanchez and Jesus Guillen. Nick Buckingham made some fine stops.
Offensive honors go to Alex Delgado who scored 4 touchdowns with runs of 50, 30, 45 and 70 yds for a total of 195 yds and added another 60 yards on the ground for 255 total offense. Emiliano Villafuerte added 89 yds of offense.
The Game Ball goes to Mr. Jones and the outstanding 1st and 2nd Team defenses for their remarkable Goal Line Stops. They especially held Pateros out of the End Zone with a great stand at the end of the Game.
