Blog: Everyday Business
March 17, 2010
The way I imagine Everyday Business, this new blog covering commerce in the Wenatchee Valley and beyond, is that it'll be like a stroll down a bustling downtown street.

It'll be filled with interesting people, activities and ideas — surprising and energizing stuff — that'll make you want to get up, get out and get moving through our fascinating economic landscape.
It'll also be quick and fun. No big honkin' essays on the value of capitalism or analyses of foreign portfolio investments, unless your foreign portfolio includes price comparisons of chicken quesadillas at local taco trucks.
So, welcome to what I hope amounts to a lively look at our local business community. Your tips and comments, of course, are most welcome.

New blog, new topic
I'm looking forward to this, Mike. At the very least, it will be entertaining and well done. I hope to learn something about the businesses in our towns. A few minutes ago I learned about the two new Cashmere restaurants. I was hoping, though, for an in-depth study of how to improve my investment portfolio.
