GWATA's Lewis joins Corban Security

GWATA’s brainiest members should figure out a way to clone Amy Lewis so she can continue working for both the tech group AND her new employer Corban Security.
Wait a minute. She’s already working for both. And that raises questions:
• Did some weisenheimer grow an extra Amy in a pickle jar when we weren’t looking?
• If we call GWATA and Corban at the same time, will Amy answer both phones?
• Is her wardrobe split between Amy 1 and Amy 2? Who got the “Geek Pride” tee shirt?
For the last two years, Amy has served as program director for the Greater Wenatchee Area Technology Alliance and will continue doing some web design and writing for the group.
But by Jan. 1, she’ll be the full-fledged sales and marketing director for Wenatchee-based Corban Security, which provides commercial and residential security services. Amy will market Corban’s alarm sales and installation division and manage its website and social media.
Amy, 42, has lived in the Wenatchee area since 1994. She’s owner of AML Consulting, a web design and computer training company, and teaches tech-focused classes at Wenatchee Valley College.
“I’m excited to join Corban,” she (or her clone) said Wednesday. “Owner Michael Blakely’s vision for his business is really inspiring, and I wanted to be part of it.”
Molly Steere, a local writer, marketer and social media consultant, will serve as GWATA’s new program director.
