Steven Tyler, in all his glittered scarfiness, is not leaving Aerosmith. I repeat, NOT leaving Aerosmith. But who could blame you if you thought he was? After his fall from stage last summer that canceled all remaining tour dates, Joe Perry's search for a new lead singer and Tyler's supposed Internet post that says he's ... um, leaving Aerosmith, how could you think anything else? Your biggest mistake, really, is believing anything that anybody says. Shouldn't we all know by now that everything is nothing but lies?
According to a story by SPIN Magazine, turns out Tyler got up on stage during a solo show by Perry last night, performing alongside him and claiming that he is, in fact, not leaving Aerosmith. On the bright side, this saves us from having to experience more of Perry's solo career or hearing some young, small-mouthed punk try to belt out "Sweet Emotion." However, this could also mean we'll be subjected to the continued dullening of a once sparkly rock brand.
But if we've learned anything, everything is lies, so maybe there's some hope yet.

I hope he never retires. If he ever did, it would deprive the world of the only man who could out lip Mick Jagger.....

It would be sad if Tyler ever retired however not so much if Perry did. One of my favorite Aerosmith albums is actually the one put out when Perry and Whitford had left the band back in the early 80's, the album being "Rock In A Hard Place".

Too bad. I really just wish they would get on hard drugs again and start making good music. They've been torturing us for too long.

Aerosmith is the best comback bands of all time bar-non.
No one can beat their stage presence.
Without the likes of Steven Tyler or Joe Perry there is no Aerosmith.
They cannot survive without one another in mainstream rock and roll
