I just received this notice from Allan Williams, Director of Sales and Marketing for Jones of Washington winery, and thought I would share it.

"It is an incredible honor to announce that Jones of Washington has been named “Washington Winery of the Year” It will be announced in the Spring 2012 Wine Press Northwest Magazine, which begins shipping this week. 2011 has been our best year yet, but 2012 is starting out pretty darned well."

Jones has long produced award-winning wines at modest prices in today's market. Winemaker Victor Palencia is a very talented young man; it is worth a visit to the Quincy tasting room to experience his wines yourself.
