Now THIS is a picture! Of course the gate is my favorite color, but the whole thing--the lead-up to the gate, and the peak in the background,with the edging of the darker blue sky--is just my kind of picture. It gives me great satisfaction just to look at it.

Do you know of the new Two Rivers Art Gallery on Columbia and First? Maybe you already hang photos in places. We don't get around Wen. much, to see. We have Icicle Arts here in L'worth. I went through your pics on Flickr this morning. Loved "Middle Earth" and the heron pics in particular. We are very fond of herons.

Frank ... re-viewing your blog posts is always a treat. This shot of the Pinnacles gate has to be one of the best of that geologic wonder -- which is hard to photograph. Thanks!

Ha, we were in the same spot at almost the same day (me 10/10) and my view is the exact opposite of yours. Here is mine looking at the gate but OUT of the park. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonyadou...
