Saddlerock big and small

Blog: Shutterday

I've been doing a lot of hiking in the Saddlerock area. Great trails and lots to see. I took this shot of people in the "saddle" to get a sense of scale. People from outside the area are constantly amazed at the amount of interesting geology we have around here.

I took this shot on the same day near the bottom of the trail, there were lots of buttercups and a few bees out. I took several shots because bees aren't very cooperative!

Frank - I have a sister who lives in that area and who loves to hike up Saddlerock. She has sent me pictures but none that showed the scale like this one does. Thanks so much for sharing!
