Egg Timer Time Lapse

Blog: Shutterday

Camalapse. Think of an egg timer which can be attached to a tripod and has a bolt to attach a camera. Have the camera's interval timer shoot every 2 seconds. This is the result. It worked surprising well. The camalapse device cost about $25.00 and like an egg timer you can set it for a maximum time of 60 minutes. The limiting factors are the weight of the camera, number of pictures on the memory card and of course a time limit.

A do-it-yourself camalapse could probably be made fairly cheaply and parts could be found at almost any hardware store.
