The Wenatchee football team will be in search of a new starting quarterback, running back and four offensive linemen next season.
The Panthers may also need a new head coach.
Scott Devereaux, who has coached the Purple and Gold to 40 wins and two league championships in his six seasons, said Monday that he is contemplating stepping away from the team to spend more time with his family.
"I haven't really decided yet," said Devereaux, who is married with three children. "When I got the job, I told my wife that after five or six years I'd reevaluate things. I took the sixth year because I knew we'd have a great chance to do some special things. It's become a soul-searching experience."
Devereaux said he will make a decision in the next two weeks after consulting with family, friends and assistant coaches.
"Right now, I'm leaning towards coming back," he said.
