Wenatchee Wine Country is hosting a St. Patrick's Day wine event featuring food, wine tasting and a discussion about wine and food by three local experts.
The new wine group includes some established local wineries including Saint Laurent Estate Winery, Stemilt Creek Winery and Martin Scott Winery.
The event will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at the Ivy Wild Inn, 410 N. Miller St. The inn is owned by Chef Richard Kitos, who will prepare special appetizers for the event and talk about his dishes.
Kitos will be joined in the discussion by Saint Laurent winemaker Craig Mitrakul and local wine expert Barb Robertson.
The cost is $25 and seating is limited. To register online, go to www.wenatcheewines.com and click on "events."
Tastebuds Wine and Coffee Bar is also featuring Wenatchee Wine Country at a wine tasting from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. Wenatchee Wine Country is also co-host for the WSU Alumni Dinner March 20 at the Apple Annie's Conservatory in Cashmere. Check out the wenatcheewines.com Web site for more information on both events.

I thing the website for Washingtonwines ends with .org. The website you posted is a advertisement for a lending agency.
