Not enough choices of fine wines with your elegant restaurant meal? Maybe it's time to head up to Sun Mountain Lodge for dinner. You won't go thirsty.

The elegant lodge, located west of Winthrop, received a Restaurant Appreciation Award from the Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers earlier this month for its outstanding wine list featuring Washington wines.

Sun Mountain's restaurant wine list features more than 400 different Washington wines, more than 460 wines from Northwest wineries and a 5,000 bottle wine cellar.

The award — now in its 13th year — selects restaurants that do an exceptional job of highlighting the width and breadth of wines available in the state. Sun Mountain is a perennial winner of the award.

Sun Mountain Lodge is the state's only AAA Four Diamond rated resort under both its resort and dining categories.
