Not so lucky at bingo, either
Blog: The Worm
November 15, 2012
Turns out, Gary Schoessler's luck at bingo weren't any better than his luck on the ballot against Chelan County Commissioner Ron Walter. Schoessler said he went to the Wenatchee Buzz Inn with some friends on election night, and ended up in a bingo game while national and state election results were broadcast on television. He kept track of his own returns on his smart phone. "It wasn't one of my lucky nights," Schoessler quipped. Then again — with the notable exception of Mike Armstrong — most of the incumbents were reelected, he noted. But voters aren't always so loyal to those in office. "I figure Cary Condotta will be up for election in two years. Maybe I'll have some fun with him," he added. The Worm caught Schoessler on Thursday afternoon on his smart phone, sitting at the river fishing for steelhead. Makes you wonder who the real winner was.
