CASHMERE — Crunch Pak is partnering with the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance to support its summer mountain bike youth camp program.

As part of the three-year partnership, Crunch Pak will help purchase bicycles and helmets, and cover part of the camp fees, according to a Monday press release from Crunch Pak.

The camp program is open to kids ages 6-12 and runs through the summer at Squilchuck State Park, according to the release. More than 40 kids from Eastmont and Wenatchee school districts are expected to attend this year.

“The goals of Evergreen’s education program include empowering kids to stay active and healthy through recreation, helping them build confidence by learning new skills and encouraging them to become stewards and advocates for natural outdoor spaces by connecting them with their local forest and trails,” Crunch Pak spokeswoman Megan Wade said in the release.
