STEVENS PASS — Pull out your shin guards and strap on the helmet — the summer bike park at Stevens Pass Mountain Resort opens on Friday.

The resort’s summer activities program will also have two new nine-hole disc golf courses and hiking options, according to a Wednesday press release.

A big construction project to replace two of the resort’s chairlifts is underway this summer, so activities will be available three days a week instead of four.

The resort also has several events planned for the summer, including a 3D archery course and a trash-cleanup project with the U.S. Forest Service, according to the release.

The resort’s summer hours of operation:

Fridays:

Opening Day through Aug. 16: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Aug. 23 through Sept. 27: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturdays and Sundays:

10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Labor Day, Sept. 2:

10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
