LEAVENWORTH — The community is invited to Tuesday’s dedication of the new and improved Cascade High School, a $25 million expansion and remodel project that got started in earnest about two years ago.

The ceremony is set for 6 p.m. in the school’s new auditorium, just one of the features of the new facility that also includes the two-story classroom wing, new kitchen, locker rooms, art room, weight room, concession stand and field house. Following a 30-minute program, community members will be invited to take a self-guided tour of the new facility.

Lydig Construction of Spokane is the general contractor on the project. Lydig also is the contractor on the $10.6 million Peshastin-Dryden Elementary School project expected to be completed this summer.
