The Waterville-Mansfield girls volleyball team celebrates a recent win. The team won the third and final slot at the state championships. 

WATERVILLE — The Waterville-Mansfield girls volleyball team finished out its district games this week by playing Moses Lake Christian Academy Nov. 1, losing in five sets, and playing Wilson Creek High School Nov. 3. The games solidified the team’s spot in the state tournament — the third and final slot.

The first state championship game is 8 a.m. today, Nov. 10, against Orcas Island High School at the Yakima Valley SunDome in Yakima.
