NCW — Students from any school within Link Transit’s service area can apply to be transit ambassadors.

Applicants must be 14 or older by the March 27 deadline, and must submit a photo of themselves and write an essay of 200 words or fewer on the benefits of public transit.

Those selected will attend orientation on March 28 and help promote Link services and student pass programs during school registration events. They will help create a promotional campaign to attract young riders.

Transit ambassadors can develop job skills and scholarship references by completing 30 volunteer hours assisting with Link’s marketing and outreach efforts. They will also receive a free Student Freedom Pass.
