Gale Tucker, art in Twisp

Mixed-media artist Gale Tucker exhibits "Raven with Cigar" and other fanciful creatures of flight at the Community Gallery in Twisp through Jan. 7.

TWISP — To appreciate the world around us, artists prompt us to take a fresh view. More than 40 local, regional and national artists are featured in the new exhibit “Perspectives” at The Confluence, this month through Jan. 7. The opening reception is at 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at 104 S. Glover St., Twisp.

The perspectives offered in this art exhibit range from literal depictions of everyday landscapes and objects to abstract geometric shapes. Curated by Joanne Marracci and Marcy Stamper, promotional materials describe the works as thought-provoking, funny, surprising, imaginative and beautiful.
