WENATCHEE — Open auditions for the ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ this year’s Apple Blossom musical, are set for Jan. 2 and 3, with 34 roles available for ages 12 to adult.

The show, presented by Numerica Performing Arts Center and the Music Theatre of Wenatchee, will open in May.

Auditions are at the Numerica Performing Arts Center, 123 N. Wenatchee Ave.

Six roles are for youth ages 12 and 15, with auditions at 3 p.m. Jan. 2.

Auditions for the part of Dorothy (age 15 and up) are at 4:30 p.m.

Adult auditions for those age 16 and up are at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 3.

The call backs will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
