WENATCHEE — Popular NPR comedic host Paula Poundstone is coming to the Numerica Performing Arts Center for an April performance.

Poundstone’s show “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” is No. 1-rated on NPR. Time Magazine called her 1990 HBO special, “Cats, Cops and Stuff,” one of the five funniest stand-up specials ever.

She also has a weekly podcast called, "Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone" and is the author of a book, "The Totally Unscientific Study Of The Search For Human Happiness," which was one of eight semi-finalists for The Thurber Prize for American Humor.

Poundstone is scheduled to perform at the PAC at 7:30 p.m. on April 9. Tickets went on sale to PAC members last week. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday at 10 a.m.
