Pacific Crest Church to host free art day camp

The program is a free, secular art day camp for children ages 4 to 18 to create their own artwork and learn from local artists and volunteers. Each day will have its own independent program and classes.

Mediums learned can include watercolor, abstracts, sculpture, recycled art, poetry, character drawing, photography and more.

Classes are first come, first served; participants will have art pieces exhibited Aug. 10 in the Pybus Market concourse from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..

Adults must be on hand for children in the program and are responsible for escorting their children to each art station.
