Spectators fill Recreation Park in Wenatchee during a ceremony in this undated file photograph. With a seating capacity of about 3,000, it was the home of the Wenatchee Chiefs from 1937 to 1941 and from 1946 to 1965.
In the current photograph, Recreation Park seating has been reduced, artificial turf added to the infield, and modern lighting replaced the old system as seen Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020. The park now hosts Wenatchee High School's baseball team as well as American Legion ball.
