Here's a view looking north near Orondo Avenue along Wenatchee Avenue as it appeared somewhere between 1915 and 1916. Part of the 1910 Wenatchee Hotel can be seen at far right. It was built in the shape of a "U" with two, three-story structures separated by a one-story piece that was the hotel lobby and office.

The current photograph made on Nov. 4, 2021, shows what remains of the hotel, its top floors having been removed in the 1960s. Many changes have been made in downtown in over 100 years.
