OKANOGAN — The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency is offering several programs to help farmers and ranchers affected by Washington wildfires.

People may be eligible for financial compensation if they have lost livestock or experienced forage and pasture losses. Services may differ depending on whether land is privately or federally owned.

For more information about assistance programs or eligibility, visit or call (509) 323-3000.
