WENATCHEE — Dig this cool event. Wenatchee Valley College archaeology students will. Be digging that is, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday at a site between Batjer Hall and Brown Library on the WVC campus.

Each year, archaeology students prepare a site for the next year’s class to excavate. Students will learn to excavate, conserve and interpret what last year’s students buried for them. Students in this spring’s classes will have to figure out the story of change the artifacts tell and determine if false clues were left, said Alex Taub, WVC anthropology instructor.
