Inez L. Austin, 87, a 70-year resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died Saturday, May 17, 2014.

She worked as a seasonal picker and sorter in the fruit industry. She also worked as an upholsterer and owned her own upholstery shop.

Survivors include her children, Frances “Fran” McKinney of East Wenatchee and Joanne Haney of Wenatchee.

A commemoration service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Memorial Chapel, 19 Rock Island Road, East Wenatchee. Concluding services and inurnment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee.

Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
