WENATCHEE — Hannah Symonds didn’t plan to return to Wenatchee High School as a teacher.
“When I was a student here, there was no way I wanted to come back,” she said. “I had no patience for high school students.”
After graduating in 2010, she attended Washington State University, intent on becoming a veterinarian. She earned a degree in animal science.
“When I was finishing up that degree, I realized I loved teaching,” she said.
