WENATCHEE — A public hearing on a proposed “after-the-fact” inspection fee for short-term rentals in Chelan County was delayed a week.

The hearing was scheduled for Tuesday morning, but two of the three commissioners were absent and so the meeting continued until 10:20 a.m. July 12. Commissioner Kevin Overbay was absent from the meeting for a vacation, while Tiffany Gering was unavailable due to a family emergency.
