NCW — The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation have received final approval from the U.S. Department of Interior for sports betting at their three North Central Washington Casinos.
The Colville Tribal Federal Corporation is still finalizing details of their operation, though they can begin taking bets as soon as feasible, according to a tribal news release.
The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation owns and operates 12 Tribes casinos in Omak, Lake Chelan, and Coulee Dam.
“This new kind of gaming will help attract visitors from around the country and allow us to further support the economy of our region,” Andy Joseph, the Colville Tribal chairman, said in a news release.
Several other Washington tribes, including the Snoqualmie, Spokane and Puyallup, have also received approval within the last month from Interior to allow sports betting.
