MALAGA — The public is invited to a Chelan County meeting on safety improvements planned for the West Malaga Road intersection.

Chelan County will host an open house from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday at the Malaga Fire Station, according to a Chelan County news release. The county plans to do safety improvements to the intersection with West Malaga, McEldowney and Golf Course roads.

The construction is expected to take 40 days and will start in the spring of 2020, according to the news release.
