A 49-year-old Wenatchee man who was arrested in February for allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at a trailer was declared mentally incompetent and has been admitted to Eastern State Hospital.

Police say Eric V. Jackson was throwing gas bombs and destroying his ex-girlfriend's trailer. Her current boyfriend was working on a shed deck on the property when he was struck by a mason jar that had a burnt fuse at the end, splashing what he believed to be gasoline, according to a probable cause affidavit.
