NCW — Target shooting is temporarily prohibited on Bureau of Land Management land in Eastern Washington, including Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan counties.

The ban started at 12:01 a.m. Thursday and will remain in effect "until fire conditions change," BLM said in a news release. The agency encourages target shooters to visit local ranges.

Campfires, off-road vehicles and fireworks are also prohibited on BLM lands, and there are restrictions on smoking. For details, visit on.doi.gov/2Mhk0Pv and click on the attachment at the bottom right.
