WENATCHEE — The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust appointed Eunice Youmans as its new executive director Thursday. She is the organization’s first woman executive director since it was founded in 1985.

Youmans will work with the land trust’s current executive director, Curt Soper, before taking over in early August, spokesperson Kathy Peven wrote in an email. She has experience in non-profit management, fundraising, and climate change policy.
